The Elders went camping!!

So, to start things off..we just like to remind everyone that, yes, we do the REAL camping, tent and all...no luxorious campers, hotels, or cabins....All that separates us from nature is a paper thin layer of tent material (not exactly sure what they are made of, but I know it's much thinner than canvas)
If any of you have never camped, you MUST go! Come with us! And if you are lucky enough to come when we go with our family (The Cones) you will have a BLAST! We know how to have great time and we can show you the ropes, or how to set up your tent, at least...

Here's the Cone/Elder Crowd with the exception of my mom (She took the picture)
A breakfast of champions...Lucky Charms...

Ok, so here's the Breakfast of Champions....

I know all you can see is the bacon, but we also had Coconut/Macademia Nut flavored Pancakes, Real Maple Syrup, Eggs over Medium, F1resh Peaches, and Carrot Juice.

Yummo! haha...

Ok, so we even took Kaelin Pontoon Boating. She was completely content in her little lifevest.

What a little "Lake Babe"

And she loved the 20mph wind blowing her few little hairs...

Here's Aunt Tay, showing Kae how to sport her hat.

At the campground, they have FREE, hot showers! Amazing! You will find that almost nowhere.

Well, since we all felt pretty lakey from the lake, we took full advantage of the showers. Here is Kaelin after a nice, hot one. Bini and cozy jammies, in front of the cracking, toasty fire is all she needed to drift into her 10 hour sleep patterns at night...so awesome!

And here she is in her little Baby sleeping bag. She stayed so toasty all night. And I got that thing at a local garage sale for $2. Wow, what a life saver. I don't know what I would have done without it. It was cold at night. Like 40*..Burrrrr...

Here's Dad and Babes keeping eachother warm...

So camping was great and I just got the camera out and got some pics of Kaelin napping after the exhausting trip in her swing. I think she is just pondering about all the new experiences she had in Big Bear. Or, she's probably just thinking about when she eats next...

Haha, they look like twins. That's actually my little Hugga-Bunch from the 80's, remember those?

And here's Kaelin waving toodle-loo...

ps-Like our new wood floors?
