It's Raining, It's Pouring, The Old Man Is Snoring

Although there are no pictures with rain in them, I thought I would just state the fact that California is finally getting some much needed rain.

On another note, Adam had off on Tuesday and we went shopping at South Coast Plaza. We stumbled upon the Disney store and this cute video shows just how much Kaelin loves Mickey.

Adam and I often remeniss (spelling?) about how much we miss the old fashion Mickey cartoons. Now they have Disney Playhouse which we watch every morning while we get ready. Kaelin loves it. (Mishka-Moushka-Mouseka-Tools) If anyone watched that show, they know exactly what I am talking about....

We went down to Balboa and, or course, had to get a Balboa Bar. I got the "Everything Bar.

We went out to eat the other night at Outback Steakhouse. I put some carrots into a little teether bag, and Kaelin went crazy on it. It's so fun now that she can sit up.

Oh, and here I am decorating our first Christmas Tree. Last year we didn't get a tree because we were just over it, but this year our neighbor was kind enough to give us their Hand-Me-Down fake tree. So we will have one for sure every year now. I'll be honest, I have NEVER been a fake tree person, because I just love the smell of the real thing. But now, since we have a baby and fire hazards and mostly because it was free, I am all about the fakies. Don't get me wrong, if I see a good deal on a real tree next year, we will keep the fake one in storage.

Dad and Kaelin passed out after Thanksgiving dinner. That triptophan must have really got to them, well, Adam at least.

It's been a busy week!

On Monday, Adam dad the day off so we decided to go down to Crystal Cove. It was so nice-warm and sunny with a light breeze.

I don't really know why I am putting this picture on my blog, but I guess I just want to Document that I went to Knotts Scary Farm this year with my fam. This is my sister, Taylor and I in front of this scary balcony in Ghost Town. Adam stayed home with the babes and watched Monday night football instead. So, we all enjoyed ourselves.

Oh, here's another random picture. I just wanted to take a picture of Adam in front of our future fish tank that will be residing in our ocean side mansion someday......

Oh man, does this girl love sour stuff. I just wanted to see her expression when I let her taste it and she barely moved a muscle. Instead, she of course shoved the thing in her mouth.

Other than that, nothing much is happening. Adam went to Knotts with a few elite people from work to celebrate receiving the "Rising Star" award. He had way too much fun and I am so jealous.

I teach my last week of gymnastics next week, and will then have 8 weeks off before I start again mid-January. Oh, I am also getting a Disneyland Pass for my Birthday which is in a few weeks, so anyone who wants to go...holla at me...Adam already got his Birthday Present. We were originally going to wait and get an X-Box 360 in a few weeks, but after reading the reviews of Microsoft's product, we were shocked at how many people hated it. Therefore, Adam looked into getting Playstation 3 and since they were having an amazing deal on it, we bought it.

Kaelin is doing GREAT! She is now 2 feet tall, weighs 13 pounds, and has discovered that her tongue is very amuzing. She eats rice cereal and bits and pieces from my plate. Of course, only those mushed up veggies....(right)

Hope everyone is doing well! I am going to relax a few more minutes with my Carrots and Green Onion Dip while Kaelin naps.....

Our Pre-Halloween Party at my parents house. My Aunt and Unlce and their two kids came over for some good ol' fashion fun. Just good eats and good memories... (Yes, that's me hiding behind the skull. I didn't have a costume this year...just not in the mood)

These are my two sisters, Jen and Tay with baby Kae. Haha, that rhymes. Taylor made a haunted house and lead us through with blindfolds. We had to feel animal brains (jello), intestines (spaghetti), and eyeballs (peeled grapes), then be scared silly by our cousins who were hiding throughout my parents pitch black house while listening to really scary music. It was fun! Good job guys!

This was Halloween night, Taylor came over and us 3 went Trick-or-Treating down Santa Ana street, while Adam watched the games. It was seriously so much fun. And the houses around here don't mess around with Tootsie-Rolls and Suckers. Oh-no..they give out King size candy bars! In an hour and a half we had filled up Taylor's bag in what normally takes 3 hours. We will definitely be doing that again.
At one of the houses, they had the foster farm chickens on display, so I had to get a picture of that.
What a good sport Taylor was, bringing up Kaelin to as many doorsteps as possible. Kaelin was just takin' it all in.
Haha, here's Kaelin standing up playing with her toy. It's so funny because she hates to sit in the actual thing, but she loves to stand up and play with it instead. Silly girl.

This was taken last night at my parent's house. Kaelin thought that decoration doll was so weird. She kept giving it these weird looks like, wow, your hair feels itchy!

And to finish things off, my parent's cat Barnum had to sit on the Sunday paper right when I was tearing out my Michael's coupon.
