Tay Tay's B-Day!

I have to gove a shout-out to my younger sis! She just turned 14! What's crazy it that there are 12 years between us, well 11 1/2 to be exact.
She is my free babysitter, my friend, and my partner in crime when I feel like being a teenager again.
So, thanks Tay for all that you do. We LOVE YOU :)
We, of course, went to Disneyland and picked up her $69 Disney Card good for buying anything in the park, except for food. Bummer!!
It was a friday night, last week, meaning Spring Break for a whole slew of out-of-towners.
Hence, it was freakin' CrAzY Busy!
So, we shopped! These pics are from my camera phone that did not come equipped with a flash, BOO!

So, we stayed at DLand until midnight, then ate at In-N-Out on our way home. Of course there was a line up the wazoo when we got there. So, Tay practically fell asleep before she ate her "Animal Style" French Fries, "Protein Style" Burger, and Strawberry Shake.
Then Saturday, her bedroom door had been decorated by our other sis, Jen.
I had to get a picture of Edward in the background since she got the movie and all.
Tay told me what she wanted. So, I ran to Macy's and picked up her little smelly figurine...
Lil' Angel
Then, as a family, we headed out to none other than the yummy, satisfying (for all) eatery where you could get 2 entrees plus an appetizer for $20. Can anyone guess where?
Kaelin slurpin' up the leftover cookie dessert thing

Next week, she is having the actual "party" with her friends. I am going to pretend that I am a professional photographer and try to capture some "moments."

She's had a pretty good run with this 14th Birthday. I don't think mine ever lasted that long.

Girly-Girl Mornings

Every single morning, while I put my face on, Kaelin sits on the counter right next to me and plays for as long as it takes me to get dolled up. (Usually about 10 min.) I have learned to be really Fast...
These are the things she does while patiently waiting for me to finish:
1. Open the drawer that she can now see and reach into, and take out brushes, powder, nail clippers, eye shadow, etc...
2. Apply clear mascara (I finally made that purchase, a smart one too! Easy clean up)
3. Clip finger and toe nails. (She actually can maneuver the nail clippers, found that out when I put my hand out, OUCH!)
4. Clean ears with Q-Tip without poking too hard. (She's mastered it!)
5. Put on clear lip gloss
6. Brush teeth and hair (With a little help)
7. Then finally, make a masterpiece on her head with bows mom made

Now I think, what the heck am I going to do if I ever have a boy?

Me. And My Job.

I bet some of you think that I just teach Gymnastics, and don't actually "do it", but here are some pictures to prove that I am still a bit agile.

ps-We look a bit wack-o because we took these pictures at about 11pm at an empty gym. Totally spooky!

Not me. My sis. Although, some mornings I wake up and can actually do the splits, other mornings, like today, I am not even close! Weekends always make me old.

A cartwheel...

To a handstand.
Not as striaght as the olympians...

The rings. I have never taught anyone anything on the men's rings, but they are fun to mess around on.

HAHA! Tay flying off the vault in a pike.

This Week

Austin Powers. "Mini Me" shot.
Beth, Kaelin & I on our recent Balboa Walk
Other than that, Went to the library and then D.Land on Monday. What's new?

Worked all day today, and tomorrow I'm not exactly sure what is on the agenda, maybe Grower's Ranch to pick up some fresh fruits and veggies.

Hope everyone is doing fabulous!
