Adam's trip to Pixie Hollow

On Tuesdays Adam has off from work to watch Kaelin while I work all day. Yesterday, he made it to Disneyland and while they were there, they hit up "Pixie Hollow" and saw Tinkerbell and Rosetta. Kaelin was starstruck. These pixies were the first celebrities she has really cared about and it's a little hard to tell by the look on her face. But, really..she was!

Our Easter Preparations

Sorry the Easter post took so long!
It's all her fault. (Look down an inch!) Just kiddin' Kaelin, it's was that darn piping my sewing teacher made me do over the weekend.

My sis and my mom getting all set up for our dyeing extravenganza!!!

The Easter Bunnies busy at work. Minus Nana and Papa.

Young Love. Jeff-n-Jen...

This was funny. I stood up on a chair and saw all these hands moving and reaching and thought it would make a more interesting picture than smiling faces.

"Cheese"

Finally someone else whipped out their camera to take a picture with me in it. Weird, a babyless picture too. Below is the famous appetizer I always make for almost every occasion.

It's brie wrapped in a pastry crust, jalepeno jelly, pears, and crackers. Combine them all together, and waa-laa!

Easter Decos

I know I posted some really cute Easter Decorations before Easter happened, I even had lots of good intentions of doing a few of them. But, this is all I could do. Kaelin had to help, of course. So, the easier, the better.

I found a ton of cute vintage Easter postcards online,

I printed them out on regular paper,

Mod podged them to thick card stock,

added glitter and a bow,

then hot glued a magnet on the back.

For these, same process, except I put tiny holes at the top,

and attached suction cups.

I actually made about 20-30, but I was in such a rush to get them in the mail, that I didn't take pictures of all of them together.

Kaelin helped by smearing Mod Podge over the top with her paint brush.

A clear mess.

Just as much mess as I can handle.

I love shooting in Manual...

Because these are the results...
A little bit of Photoshop never hurts either...
I've been getting a lot of these looks lately...

Once things get settled
(Just started teaching gymnastics this week, in addition to the sewing class I also started this week, and the soccer games, the tutoring, and my church calling)
I'd like to snap some shots of my friends' kids!
Holla at me homies :)

Books and D.Land

In order for me to get anything done around here, I sit K on our bed with a pile of books.
Walaa...She just sits there are reads! Crazy!

I reward her with D.Land trips...
Can't believe I actually got a picture of her face :)

Well, one head shot will have to do, Mom. Cuz all your getting is side profiles now!

We always try to bring friends, this time it was our pals, Chelsie & Ansofie

We are having withdraws because our passes are blocked out until April 18th. Boo!

With Spring Comes Easter

I love this idea!!! So fresh and so green, green!

A fun craft for your little kid-lets...
Another tryer-outer...
Want to make a use out of all those plastic, green, strawberry holders?

This is pretty much a cupcake, turned upside down, covered with frosting, covered with coconut flakes, and garnished with an almond for the nose, and I think Martha used licorice for the red. Not sure though....

Hope you all have felt some craftiness brewing after you've seen this post.
