Halloween is Upon Us...

I have heard so much about this "Rogers Gardens" place that is over by Fashion Island. So, I dragged the fam along and did a spur of the moment photoshoot.

Here are some fun decorating ideas to get you in the mood...

Kaelin picking out her first pumpkin...I belive it cost $59.99, if I remember right...yep...$59.99

Ok, this medium size one is better, betting in size for Kaelin, although still $39.99....

These ones must be affordable....well $19.99 anyways...we still didn't buy it. I'll go to Henry's next week and splurge and get two pumpkins for $5 each...haha...

Too bad she wasn't looking at me. We'll have to go back there. I like the rustic feel.

And lastly, we mosied our way into the fancy schmancy store, Kaelin stayed outside of course. All I could imagine was her taking one swipe at the bottom shelf stocked full of these puppies. This one ornament cost $225, and there were much more exquisite ones too...

Just had to include these fun Mardi Gras masks, that I'm sure someone will need and happen upon at Rogers Gardens...

So I feel a little bad, because the pictures I have been posting lately have been from about a month ago. These ones are old too, but I have to catch up somehow. So I am going to try and post more often until I feel I have officially caught everyone up.

Before work started, I had a photoshoot day with a friend of ours, and here are some cute shots.

Picture above displays my new hobby, baby bow making. Since Kaelin finally has a grip of sprouts on that noggin of hers, I can finally start dressing her up with bows. Ya right, who am I kidding, the girl chews em up and spits em out within seconds of me putting them in.

I know she looks kinda like a boy here, but this face I see alot, and I will probably continue to see for a couple of years...until she passes me up in height...but that's not for a while, right? Unless she is half vampire baby/half human baby...Twilight readers, catch my drift??

I never would have known

that taking a walk down the street would be so filled with interesting stuff. To me, it's just a sidewalk to the park, but to Kaelin, the sidewalk offers much much more...

3 Joys:

1. Taking Naps with my sweet baby all snuggled up together. (I would say the same with Adam, but he snores, and has prickly face, so it's just not as joyful as a little baby. Plus we never seem to nap at the same time...)
2. Living in Orange County. I know it's not for everyone, but I love our little apartment life :)
3. Sleeping and the beach...or better yet..sleeping ON the beach!

3 Fears:

1. Big tree spiders. Mo- We got tons too. They just float down onto our porch from the palm trees way up high! I pulled one down yesterday with a broom and squashed the sucker!!
2. The dark!!!! So scary to me. I get anxiety attacks and feel totally helpless especially while camping or staying home alone at night...
3. Anything bad hapening to Kaelin :(

3 Obsessions:

1. My eyebrows. They have never been waxed or tweezed by anyone but me. And I plan to keep it that way unless I lose both my hands randomly...
2. Clean Teeth. As soon as I feel any bit of fuzziness on any one single tooth, I can't focus on anything else, but getting it clean.
3. Getting everything on my "To-Do" List Done, everyday.

3 Surprising Facts:

1. I don't like cake
2. I don't like bangs
3. I could totally live without a boob tube. It drives me nuts and I can actully feel myself getting dumber when I watch it.

I think I have about A MILLION pictures of K's baby toes. They are just so cute and feet aren't something that get better with age, ya know? So I gotta get my toe shots in while the little piggies are so yummy :)
K LOVES corn on the cobb, but what's even funnier, her ABSOLUTE FAVE vegetable is Popeye's fave too, can you guess...? SPINACH. I sautee it with a little butter and pepper and she eats a whole bowl full. It is really weird to me, because I just started liking spinach only a few years ago.

And out of her bottles...
A big transition for us. No more bottles, which means no more cuddling and staring into my baby girls sweet blue twinkling eyes at the end of the day . Oh man, I will REALLY REALLY miss that! It makes me sad. If my doc didn't say to get her off, I would probably wait as long as possible to take that night time bottle away. If you are a mom, I'm sure you know what I mean!
