Lightning and Thunder at 2 am this morning!!!
It was crazy! Car alarms were going off, our power went out, and the oddest things were that Kaelin slept right through it, there was not a drop of rain, and I was like a little kid at the window sill impatiently waiting for another crack of lightning. I was giddy.
It was just so exciting! We never have any weather!
Anyone else experience this phenomenon?

Did you take that picture? We were giddy too, couldn't get back to bed we wanted it to keep going...without any harm of course.

I kept counting to see how close the lightning was. Our kids slept right through it too! I can't remember the last time we had an electrical storm! We had a quick downpour of rain though... and we're right down the street from you! Surprised you didn't get any.
We got it down here too. In the middle of the day though. And then randomly it started hailing...and they were like the sizes of nickles! It wasn't even cold out side! Craziness!
