Pink & Girly

I made this cute tag for a baby shower I went to the other day. I made it for my friend, Chelsea and her new baby daughter, Ansofie. Newborn babies are so precious. I miss those early days with Kaelin. Although I definitely DO NOT miss those early morning wake up calls...

Oh Baby!

Look out world, Kaelin is on the loose...

Shr is just barely 8 months and can crawl up these staris already...

HAHA...
Anyways, we made it to another zoo, this time the Santa Ana Zoo. Not too thrilling, but at least we got out of the house to look at something new.
Aunt Tay & I
The "fam"
An Elephant
Don't forget to say "Hi" to Miss Daisy
And for the Infamous V-Day we promised eachother no gifts. We believe it is a much over-rated day to spend money on unnecessary items.
Although, I did end up doing something. I told Adam that my parents invited us over for dinner and they would watch Kaelin while we could just relax. When we got there, I asked my parents to watch Kaelin while we went to Target. Well, we did go to Target, but we also did dinner at Market Broiler. A 20 minute wait and a casual envioronment to just eat seafood. We had Sushi, All types of fishes that I will never attempt to cook, and my personal fave, Coconut Shrimp. I had it as my meal. They have the absolute best Pina Colada dipping sauce for those shrimpers.
Then I pulled out this red envelope that I put together totally last minute. It had a poem inside.
He liked it and that part was free at least...
I know, these pictures are in no real order, but that's because I have so many to post and I really don't feel like going through them and moving them all around to their appropriate chronological order. Anyways, here's Kaelin after bath time. Big Blues and all...
Here's a gift we got on Valentine's Day from our neighbors. Funny thing is, when we showed up at my parents house, there was the exact same toy sitting in the living room and I was like, "Sweety, I didn't think we were going to bring that here" and he didn't. My mom had bought the same exact toy from the store just minutes before we showed up....pretty weird...but really cool because now we don't have to cart it back and fourth with us with our loads and loads of laundry.

So Much to do, So little time

A really long while ago, I made some super simple home-made "Thank You" cards. Well, here they finally are. These cards had been on my to-do list for quite some time after Christmas. The Inside:
The back. This is my card logo. It's a girl and her surfboard. Although, I tried embossing it, and it made it look all yucky. I still haven't mastered the whole "embossing" thing yet...

My Middle Name is Lee

What happens when....

Well D-Land is becoming a weekly occurance now, and so I am concentrating on improving my score on the Astro Blasters ride. It's my favorite! And look at my score this week as compared to last week, nearly 60,000 more points. Wo-Hoo!

The only thing was about D-Land this week was that it was oddly busy. I was so bummed. We only made it on 2 rides, this one and Pirates. Instead we opted for shows, one of them being the Disney Clubhouse live Puppet Show. It was cute, but hard to keep Kaelin within the yellow safety lines. Plus, she cut her 2nd tooth while we were there, so she was a little CrAzY!

Last week...

Other than Disneyland, we have been trying to not spend so much money, so I made just a few home-made Valentines Cards and I promised Monica I would show them. So here they are...

The inside, super simple.
This is what happens when you don't pay attention to your child when you are busy scrapbooking....
And this is how I can tell she does not like Sweet Potato Bisque...
Oh, and here's what happens when your child falls face first into the pew in front you while your Stake President is baring his testimony. She let out one of those huge pain crys, you know, when they do something, then they are quiet for like 5 seconds while they gather as much vocal strength as possible, they they just lay it out and you feel so bad....
Maybe the flash masked her purple-ness, but they are very visible in real-life.

Another D-Land Trip

We have been pretty boring lately. I work Tues, Wed and Fridays for a few hours here and there and therefore our only free days to do fun stuff are Mondays and Thursdays. And last Monday I believe it was pouring buckets, so we had to get out and do something fun on Thurs.

Of course, D-Land hit the spot! It always does.

Kaelin is finally into riding in her stroller again. She went through this phase where she absolutely despised her stroller, carseat, and anything else that had straps.

There is a spot right between California Adventure and Disneyland with a cute little Mickey design on the ground. I wanted to take her out of her stroller and do a cute fashion shoot on the ground, but I felt like people would think I was from a 3rd World country or something. The blazing sun and dirty ground were the least of my concerns. We went into this cute little place inside CA Adventure where you can answer these questions and at the end it tells who you are mostly like...I don't thing I've seen this movie, but I agree regardless! Anything but a princess... Aunt Jen and Kaelin on the little ladybug ride.
Just for fun.
Last, but not least! The expression on my face tells it all. I was giving it my all. I finally made it to level 4 on the Astro Blasters ride! Wo-Hoo!!!

Other than that, I am working on my Valentines Cards for the grandparents and I am trying to slowly read Eclipse. (3rd book in the Twilight Series) by Stephenie Meyer. The 4th book doesn't drop until August and I don't want to be waiting that long. Unless I just re-read them all again right before then. (Which I already planned on doing). Seriously, these books are so fabulous. I don't ever want them to end.

Oh well, since I know they will, does anyone out there suggest any good, easy-reads?

If so, let me know!!!! I am actually enjoying this reading stuff.
