Our Week-At-A-Glance

Monday we went with Adam's family to the Long Beach Aquarium

Watch out for that shark Adam!

Kaelin, Are you in the tank?

Wow! What are you all looking at?

Tuesday, we took it easy! The first take-it-easy day in a LONG while!

Daddy's little girl-What can I say?

We all appreciate nap time...

Wednesday was the 4th of July! It started at 9:00am when we went to our Bishop's house for Breakfast and then participated in the Mariners Parade. We ended the parade at Mariners Park for games and activities. Look at all these bikes!

Here's Kaelin showing her American Pride

And look at those lips...muah!

Then after the parade we all came to our place to head on over to Castaways Park across the street. We parked our chairs and blankets on the grass to get ready for the spectacular light show that would be going on later that night.
This picture actually shows 4 generations
Catherine Cone, Lori Cone, Tracy Elder,
Jenny Cone, Taylor Cone, and Kaelin Elder

Then on Thursday we ran a bunch of errands. We stopped by Babies R Us, my old job, The Lazy Dog Cafe, and then Party City to return some party decorations. Here's Kae just kickin' it after running those errands.
Oh, here's her first Blow-Out. I have heard alot about those from other Moms. Now I can say I have experienced one for the first time. I'm sure their will be many more to follow.
This is her usual spot where she listens to Baby Einsteins....I just like her little Mohawk. Mom and Babes chillin'
Here's Adam getting Kae all strapped up
On Friday Dad went back to work so Mom decided to put on a photo shoot. She did pretty good, except I need a faster camera to catch her before she moves.

Later on in the afternoon, my mom, Grandparents, sister, Tay, Kae, and I headed up to Seal Beach. We walked on the boardwalk, went window shopping and my mom and I even found some bathing suits that were on sale for $5. What a deal! Then for lunch we stopped by this little eatery called "La Creme" and they made these fabulous homeade Crepes and really tasty Panini's. We will definitely be back for more :)

Saturday we headed down to my Uncle and Aunts house in Mission Viejo for some swimming and BBQ Yumminess, and to celebrate my Grandpa's Birthday. We ate like Kings and Queens, as usual when we go down there. The weather couldn't have been better and I actually sat in the jacuzzi for the first time in almost 9 months. It was so nice. By the way, that's my Aunt in the jacuzzi. There's no way I would be in a picture in my bathing suit being posted on here.

Here are the ladies
And the boys + Emma
You can't really see it, but her outfit is this cute Gap outfit that ties on the shoulders. We found it at Childrens Orchard for like $2.
After a day in the sun, Kae is pooped as usual...
Sunday we went over to my parents house for what else, than another BBQ. Actually, no, we didn't have a BBQ, we ate King Crab legs and Oh yea, we did BBQ. We BBQ'd brats for my Grandpa since he's not a fan of seafood.

My gandma with the Babes
Here are the girls doing the obvious

4 generations, but this time with the boys
A game of darts, which I'm sure my Grandpa won
The Great-Grandparents and Kae

As this week ends, another starts. Kaelin is growing so fast, but I am making sure to cherish each moment as I am told these days go by way too fast. We love our family and we are so greatful for all the great memories that have been made in this short time. We love our little girl so much and I hope she knows that she is surrounded by such wonderful people. We love you Kae!

CrAzY WeEkEnD!!!

The weekend all began with a walk down on Balboa Island (Friday Afternoon)...

Here we are stopping by our favorite candy shop. If you have seen my previous postings, you may notice the same Balboa Candy Writing in a picture we took where I was still Preg-O and eating a Balboa Bar. Yumm! Sorry Kaelin, you are a little too young for those still.
Here is a scenic shot with the yachts in background. Someday, one of those yachts will be ours-even if it is the ugliest one!

OK! Now, here is where the PARTY starts! Saturday we had a Baby Shower at The Cone's House and these were just some of the table decorations. Look at how small her little tootsies are.....

I just love these girls. They have seriously been my right and left arms since about the 4th grade. And look, I am still the shortest...

Oh, we are so HAPPY :)

And after the party was over - Kaelin who slept the entire time, was POOPED!
I wish I could sleep all day.

But the fun didn't stop there, Saturday night we joined the Elder Clan and stuffed our faces with some Mimi's Cafe food.
Did you know that Mimi's is where it all started???
(My friend Monique-3 pictures up in the grey shirt-met Adam and Aaron at Mimi's in the summer of '03 because she was their waitress. She invites them over to my apartment one night for a little shin-dig and that is where I first laid eyes on my hubby- cool, huh?)

Then on Sunday, we had another party to attend. It was in celebration of Kaelin's Baby Blessing. The Blessing was amazing and we thank everyone who was there to support our family :)

These are just some of the shots of what was going on around the house...
People eating and having a good time..

This is my Grandpa Cone (my Dad's dad) and my sister Taylor

Here are some more family and friends...

And some more family and friends...
Hey look, we even had Blue Box Macaroni and Cheese... Yumm, I still make that for lunch and sometimes dinner.. hehe

Here is my sister Jen, Adam's sister, Katie and Adam's brother, Aaron.

Here is Analee and Ashlee with their silly faces

And these two are getting ready for the married life in September

And these two were chattin' it up about cars...

COUSINS!!! YAY!!!

And here is Kaelin, still sleeping is even the most uncomfortable of positions.

This is much better... Oh, she is so sweet.

ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz......

And then on Sunday night, after we went to Downtown Disney to watch fireworks, we finally had some time to get some shut eye.. well almost...Kaelin slept through the pops and bangs, and when we got home she was wide awake. She definitely likes to be on the go!

Good Luck getting this girl to bed! But at least she's HAPPY :)
